Xes on Exos Heroes - Paid Currency
If you've been a playmate of mine for a while now, you know that I am a dolphin on games that I care about. I've spent my share of Xes on Exos Heroes, mostly to pull new units that I thought were interested and held my visual interest.
To make sure I keep track of my spending and not go overboard, I calculated (as I do on most games I spend on) the value of xes when purchased straight from the store with USD, and how that translates into costs per summon.
The Cost of Xes in Real Money
Here are the breakdowns as of August 2020.
To purchase Xes, you first have to buy Crystals from the Station. Each Crystal is in general $0.01 per crystal.
There are several ways to gain xes through crystals on Exos Heroes, but I calculated strictly for purchasing straight from the Station, Weekly Currency Packages, Monthly Currency Packages, and Monthly Exos (collecting certain amount of xes per day for a month).
This means that the cost per summon is as below if you were to gain all xes through this method and not through earning them for free through gameplay based on xes value.
Is it worth it?
I am one to believe that everyone places different value on a dollar and different value on services and products. If it's worth it for you and you are within means to do it, then be my guest.
Xes, in general, is not an ultra scarce item in game, so if you are diligent in your dailies and thoughtful on where you spend the xes, you don't even have to spend a dollar in game to gain entertainment on #ExosHeroes. But - before you spend on the game to support, make sure you check the value you're placing in it to save yourself from conflict later down the road.
